I’ll lead an initiative to extend sustainability projects and accessibility to both citizens and business. I support the creation of a Green Westerville task force to explore public electric car charging stations, solar energy co-ops, and other environmental projects. We need a clear and compelling strategy to keep Westerville on the cutting edge of sustainable living.
A Sustainable Westerville
I believe that every citizen of Westerville should feel at home in our community. I support the establishment of a Westerville non-discrimination ordinance that would protect all of Westerville's residents, including our LGBTQIA family, friends, and neighbors. The benefits of living in Westerville should be accessible for all of our residents–regardless of income level. That’s why I’ll fight for low community center costs and a new cultural arts center.
An Inclusive Westerville
The City of Westerville must continue to attract businesses and commerce to our community. Our businesses support job growth and provide tax revenues that pay for many Westerville services. I’ll fight to ensure that businesses are supported in every part of our community–not just certain districts. I’ll advocate for more affordable housing so that businesses have a workforce right here in Westerville. As your Westerville City Council member, I’ll promote public transportation and mobility to make our city a more efficient and convenient place to live and work.
